Il Trio in Nesconset

Make sure they give you the right menu! Food is delicious yes, but I was just there for lunch and we were handed the lunch menu, but we were charged the dinner price. I understand we probably got larger portions and it's a Saturday, but it's not our fault that we were handed the wrong menu. I didnt " fight it" but it just feels wrong and unfortunately wont be going back.

A little pricey, food was good though.

Ordered a pie to go. Very good pizza.

The food and ambience was great. The wait staff was very attentive and made sure you had everything you wanted. The one downside is it's small. It's an addition to a pizza shop. Portion size was great.

We had a staff meeting today and needed lunch for Staff. We wanted to be supportive of everyone eating healthy. We got a Beautiful lunch, very tasted and presented very nicely. Thanks so much!

Delicious food...excellent service

I order the vodka pasta. Very delicious, melted in my mouth the second I got my plate. The waiters was so nice. The place is clean as well.

I had the Il Trio Special it was out of control. Pizza and wings also are delicious. Long live Il Trio. The owners are also incredibly nice.

I love this restaurant for my family more than my own wife's cooking. The chef cooks the best pasta in Nesconset! I walk out feeling happy to be alive every time. The calamari is so fresh too but who could forget the rice balls!!

I hardly ever give a review but I felt obligated to for this restaurant. The food was amazing and authentic. The service was great and I will be a regular at Il Trio.

A lovely dining experience. My first visit to this establishment and I must say it was quite decent.. I had a trio of pastas, while my companion enjoyed the specialty chicken dish. The rice balls were my favorite of all and I would return just for another taste of these delightful treats.

Recommended by a cashier at kohl's! We we not expecting the great service or the delicious food. Their veal was fantastic, eggplant heavenly, pasta al dente, everything perfect. The bill Including one glass of wine was $50 clams. Waitress, whose name was Tormy was outstanding.Go there eat have fun then leave.

I've been passing this place for years now. I read good reviews about it, so my wife and decided go there. I can not believe how fantastic the food and service was. I so mad that I haven't gone sooner. This is the best kept secret in all of smithtown/ Nesconset. You will not be disappointed!!!

Best Italian restaurant

My husband had ordered and paid up front for our Mother's Day dinner but when we arrived to pickup our order, they advised that our order was given to someone else in error. Of course, they immediately apologized and made our food quickly as well as refunded us for an error on the bill. They also gave us additional platters for the inconvenience with no questions asked. I have to say that the customer service they provided was amazing and were so quick to make it up to us. The food was all so delicious. I rarely post reviews but this one needed to be shared. You definitely have gained a permanent customer. Thank you and stay safe!

I ordered the stuff shells and I must say the cuisine was amazing, the cheese and sauce was flavorful as well as the shells being cooked to perfection! I would most definitely come again! My server was very polite and kind.

We hosted our sons christening there and everything was perfect! The food and service was wonderful, and everyone is still raving about how delicious it was! Francesco is so easy to work with, and makes sure everything runs so smooth :) I work close by and the lunch menu is amazing too! Very happy to have such a great little place in the neighborhood!

Il Trio is just great food and super consistent. They're not speedy, but I'd take waiting a little longer for great food anyday.

Worst pizza ever made. My kids threw up and my hole family got food poisoning. The service was so bad. It took 1 hour to make a terrible pizza. Never again.

Best Italian restaurant around . A combination of traditional and new Italian specialties makes IL Trio top notch . Couple that with reasonable prices, large portions and friendly staff makes for a special time. I have been there three times and ordered three different dishes and all were great.

Let me start off by saying I have had great experience at this place up until now. I ordered a pie of pizza and while splitting one of the slices there was one piece of hair holding the two slices together. I pulled the hair out and decided to continue to eat, then in my bite I noticed another piece of hair. Great people but shoot wear some hairnets. This was my go to for pizza since I only live a block away. I was willing to bring the pie back with only 2 1/2 slices missing for a refund which they did not give me but offered to make another pie which I didn’t take. Unfortunately they have lost my business.
